Luckily nothing resulted, and we missed some bad weather again. Did get a few torrential downpours. Guess this is going to be an early tornado season.

]]> http://www.artisticflowerarrangements.com/blog/more-bad-weather/feed 0 First Tornado Scare of the Season http://www.artisticflowerarrangements.com/blog/first-tornado-scare-of-the-season http://www.artisticflowerarrangements.com/blog/first-tornado-scare-of-the-season#comments Thu, 12 Feb 2009 05:27:18 +0000 Judy http://www.artisticflowerarrangements.com/blog/?p=48 Here it is still the winter season and we’re getting tornado warnings!  Worst yet the storm today did scare me aTornado bit.  Around 2pm I was sitting at the ol’ computer looking out the window, when all of a sudden  huge gust of wind came through.  It managed to knock over the water fountain in the front yard and move a rather large planter I have on the front porch.  A few minutes later we lost power.  It did not come back on until 3 hours later.   When power did come on, I turned on the TV and saw news stories about the storm damage to different parts of Tennessee.  I am thankful that we had no serious damage to our home, however, I can’t say that about some other folks in the area.  Lots of trees and power lines were down as well as a few roofs blown away.
