Seems like only yesterday we were ringing in 2008 and now it will be 2009 in just 12 more days. I can hardly believe it. Right now as I’m sitting here typing its been raining for the last week or so (something we have really needed in the area for a long time), but for now it’s a dismal gray day outside. All the snow is gone, but hopefully we will have a bit by Christmas Day.

After that I don’t mind if it leaves again, I just like to have some snow on Christmas Day. The birds are enjoying their meal on the feeders out on the porch and every once and a while the squirrels come by and steal some of the food too. Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone the Merriest Christmas and the Happiest New Year.

Enjoy the holidays, eat, drink (but not too much), laugh (a lot) and just enjoy yourself.
